Alan and Denny are responsible for defending a pharmaceutical company in a tort action by a woman who was taken her off an experimental pill (what she believed to be SV113) which could have healed her diabetes. They wrestle with a damaging secret about their best witness, a pharmacologist working for the drug company. In a different thread, Tara uses deception to elicit information which would probably help her and Lori to win their case, but at the risk of their case and careers.
